Pie and Peaks

Yup, I made my first apple pie.  Crust was nice and flakey.  

Locally grown Golden Delicious apples were firm and tasty when baked. 

(Lani, you would be so proud of me~!)

Also tried a new soup recipe with my left over apples.  

Cabbage, onion and apple soup with chicken stock base.

Lovely rich savory soup to go along with a roasted pork.  

LOVE WINTER MEALS.

More pies to come.  Had a slice of Oregon cherry pie at Random Order.

Damn good~!! Damn fine cup of coffee~!!

Did i mention that I watched Twin Peaks (finally)?
