ABOUT

Ann a'misa Chiu 
is a writer, artist and aspiring librarian and archivist.  


Since 2010, she has been a participating writer with The Undeniables: Writer's Workshop. A'misa is presently editing her newest project, The Dreamers, a speculative fiction novel about dreaming, rabbits, crystal mines, soul mirrors and searching for the truth.  

She holds a BA in Visual Arts/Art History & Criticism from UCSD, studied with the California Rare Books School, and is a candidate for her MS in Library & Information Sciences from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.  

Currently living in Portland, Oregon, A'misa is active with her involvement and collaboration with the local zine and comix art community, as well as the progressive Asian American community.  She is a member of Asian/Pacific American Libraries Association, a co-conspirator of Asian American Pacific Islanders for Social Justice, and the former visual arts coordinator for art + community Tuesday Night Project in Little Tokyo.
